Angel Homecaring prides itself on offering a first class Domiciliary Service to the elderly and adults who are experiencing dementia, mental health problems, physical disability or long term illness enabling them to live within their own home for as long as possible with dignity and independence.
We are a 3 star excellent CQC rated Service and we offer a wide range of services to individuals in their own home including personal care, meal preparation, shopping, domestic duties and day opportunities amongst other services if needed.
Our Community Health Care Workers are required to work early and late shifts over 7 days between 6.45am and 11pm to meet the needs of the Service Provision and there are opportunities to work nights also; however we also have part time bank vacancies for staff that are available to work evenings and weekends only.
We now also have some new great opportunities to work with individuals in their own home on a one to one shift basis of either early, late or night shifts in addition to our pop in home visits. Staff are needed for all shifts however are not expected to work nights if they do not wish to. Staff can have a mixture of pop in visits and one to one shifts should they wish to. Soon staff will also have the opportunity be able to join our day service team in our exciting new service provision!
If you are interested in working in the community and helping people, full training will be given to the right applicant and opportunities to gain a career in care at Angel Homecaring is also available to those who wish to progress within the company. We are also pleased to offer our staff free specialist training opportunities through our own City & Guilds accredited sister company Angel Training Academy and also the chance to gain Level 2 and 3 of the new training qualification which is replacing NVQs – QCF Diplomas in Health and Social Care which we will be able to offer through work based learning. We also recognise staff that ‘go the extra mile’ by awarding employee of the month and excellence awards which are given to staff at our annual anniversary awards.
Access to a vehicle and mobile phone is essential due to the nature of the work and the location. However, some opportunities may be available to non-drivers who have previous work experience in care and live within the areas Angel Homecaring covers.
